We need to know what, if any, experience you have, a short CV (Curriculum Vitae)
and a statement saying why you want to be a Lay Advocate and what you think you can
bring to the network.
We will then ask you to complete a small task to assess your aptitude.
We will train you and you will be allocated to an experienced advocate mentor who
will guide and advise you. On completion of the basic training you will have to
undertake an assessment to test your knowledge and skills. Upon successful completion
you will need to carry out three cases to conclusion with your appointed advocate
and then you will be able to offer your services through the network on a fee earning
We are always learning and expect our advocates to carry out continual development
of their skills and abilities.
Whilst all training is free we do ask for a registration fee of £100.00 to demonstrate
your commitment to the network.
Think you have what it takes?
Please complete the application form below and we will contact you once your application
has been reviewed.
